Good Morning !!! It's Friday. (YAY) I hope all of you had a wonderful week and have a fun weekend planned.

This week I have created a card out of my comfort zone. I have some beautiful CRAFTERS WORKSHOP STENCILS, but cannot always figure out a way to use them. Well, this week one of my crafty DT members has done a tutorial here that you must see. So, thought I would give it a try.

First, the beautiful image is CRYSTAL ROSE from the FAIRYLICIOUS COLLECTION by VICTORIA CASE FOR SCACD.

Now to the card. First, I stamped my image and masked her. There is a great tutorial on masking here. Then used the CRAFTERS WORKSHOP STENCIL - BUTTERFLY MEADOW and adjusted the placement as needed. This is the first time I have used a stencil and an airbrush. It was definitely something new for me, but I really like the idea of using stencils for backgrounds. I plan on playing some more to see what I can come up with. She is colored with COPICS and her wings are accented with STICKLES.

This angle shows the sparkle from the embellishments and the dimension.

Good Morning and Happy Weekend!! (YAY)

I have another adorable image from the New Adventures of Lili and Poppy. I just love stamps that have a dog or cat. This cute little stamp is Daphne's Tea Party.

She is, of course, colored with Copics. The flowers in her hair and the place mat are highlighted with Stickles and Kaisercraft Pearls. The precious little cat was colored with Prisma Pencils. The flowers are from my stash.

The beautiful DP is Kaisercraft Paper Pad - Lil' Primrose. The little tab on the side is also from the paper pad. There are several papers in the back that have little punchouts.

In this picture I was trying to capture the beautiful raised embossing that is on some of the paper in this pad. The paper is so beautiful and with the little tab I really didn't need to add any other embellies, but I just love flowers.

Good Morning! It seems like forever since I have posted. I have been super busy, as well, as being under the weather. Hopefully, things will calm down soon so I can play and try some new techniques.

This adorable image is "GIVE PEACE A CHANCE" from the Sylvia Zet "THE NEW ADVENTURES OF LOLI AND POPPY". Isn't she cute? Going to give away my age here - I can remember the flower child days and bell bottoms and peace signs everywhere.

She is colored with COPICS and highlighted with STICKLES. I did do some stitching on this card because I thought it called for it.

Here's a different angle. The embellishment in the corner was made using the POPPY STAMPS DIE - SMALL TILDA SWIRL. I cut it out with pink and orange and layered it and put a embellie from my stash in the center with a rhinestone. The border is a MEMORY BOX DIE - MERIDIAN BORDER. Before I used the Memory Box dies I only used SB for background, but after using these dies and see how clean they cut I use them a lot more. To finish my card off I used rhinestones from my stash.

IF THE SHOE FITS

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!

Today is the day for the cutest release ever and we are having a blog hop so you can see all the cutalicious images. This image is "IF THE SHOE FITS" from the Victoria Case for SCACD FAIRYLICIOUS COLLECTION.

You should have arrived here from the super talented Mary's blog . If you didn't start at the beginning the order is on the store blog.

Now on to the card. Isn't this image just the cutest - I love the little cricket and the happy expression on her face when the shoe fits. I know how she feels - shhhh! I have a shoe fetish. (lol) She is colored with COPICS. The clam chair is also colored with copics and I used Fun Flock for the cushion. The beautiful sparkle and glitz on the chair and wings is GLAMOUR DUST ULTRAFINE GLITTER PAINT - ICE CRYSTAL and CELEBRATION PINK. The flowers are from my stash and I used the MEMORY BOX ELEGANT SCROLL DIE underneath them for a different look rather than leaves. By the way, Susana has the MB Dies back in stock. To finish off the card I used my BOW EASY to make the pretty little pink bows and KAISERCRAFT PEARLS.

I wanted to show you a closeup of the shell. The color came out perfect, it actually looks like a shell. I first used the GLAMOUR DUST PAINT - ICE CRYSTAL after it dried (it dries quickly) I applied the Distress Crackle Paint - Clear Rock Hard Candy after it dried I applied another coat of the paint and another layer of the crackle paint and then sponged on a little DELICATA - GOLDEN GLITZ which really gave it the shell color.

Good Morning! I have been so waiting for this day to show you this super cute image. ELAINA is from the SYLVIA ZET NEW ADVENTURES OF LOLI AND POPPY FOR SCACD release. Just wait until you see the entire set - it is a must have.

I really had fun coloring her. She is, of course, colored with COPICS. Did you notice on the closeup her lower body? She actually looks like she has fish scales. I tried to capture the picture in the closeup, but it is so cool looking. The Distress Crackle Paint - clear rock candy is fun to play with. The sand was made using ULTRAFINE FLOWER SOFT - SAND AND WHITE with a little DOODLEBUG GLITTER SUGAR COATING - LILY WHITE. Her fins are coated with DIAMOND GLAZE.

This is just another angle to show the fish and waves.

HAPPY FRIDAY!! Time for weekend crafting and fun. (YAY) Would you believe it was 76 degrees here yesterday in central Texas? Crazy crazy weather, but sure is nice and spring like - the birds are even chirping.

This image LILY from the SPRING FLORAL FAIRIES reminds me that spring is just around the corner. I just love the sweetness on her face.

LILY is colored with COPICS and for the beautiful glitz I used DECOART GLAMOUR DUST GLITTER PAINT -CRYSTAL. Sometimes the ultrafine glitter paint works better than Stickles - even though you guys know how much I loooooove Stickles. The bow was made using my BOW EASY and the flower and butterflies are from my stash.

HAPPY SUNDAY!!! The sun is shining here and it feels like a spring day with the birds chirping and squirrels playing.

Today SCACD is having a new release "SPRING FLORAL FAIRY by Carmen Medlin". I am presenting to you "POPPIE". I just love her sweet face and the little ladybug.

Please go to the store BLOG to see the DESIGNERS participating in this release. There are some cuties in the release.
The beautiful DP is BASIC GREY - PICADILLY. I sponged just a little pink on the paper to bring it all together. That is something I have just started doing - if the papers don't match perfectly just sponge a little ink on it. The beautiful vine border is a MEMORY BOX DIE - SAVANNAH BORDER. I embossed the background of the image with a CRAFTS TOO - SCROLLWORK folder.
With the images you get a flower accessory - the one on the front of the card is the pansy that comes with PANSELLA. Poppie is colored with COPICS and highlighted with SMOOCH - FROSTED AQUA and ILLUMINATE. The ladybug is glossed with DIAMOND GLAZE. Then to finish it off I used a sentiment from my stash and KAISERCRAFT PEARLS.

Here is a pic of the inside where I used the POPPY flower that comes with POPPIE. Oh, the little ladybugs are some I have had forever so I can't tell you anything about them.

Happy Friday ! YAY!!!! Do you have a wonderful weekend planned? It is supposed to turn cold tonight so my time will be spent inside.

Before I tell you about my card I want to tell you about an exciting release this Sunday - 15th. I can tell you it has to do with Spring Fairies. So, please come back and visit.

This beautiful image is "CAROLYN'S BONSAI" by Carmen Medlin for SCACD. I like Bonsai's because they are so unique and interesting and calming to look at - at least for me. It is stamped with MEMENTO TUXEDO BLACK INK and colored with COPICS. The DP is Prima Madeline.

To finish off the card I applied KAISERCRAFT PEARLS and STICKLES on the little butterfly and on the MS butterfly.

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!

Good morning!! I hope all you had a very wonderful Christmas and New Year. I got to see my daughters and all my grandchildren - what could be better?

Before I tell you about my card, I want to let you know SCACD is reopening today at8:00am California time and Susana has a lot of new products which I have listed below.

Now to my card. This super cute image is "A CUPPA" from the Odds & Ends Sampler by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD. I thought of this image while I was in Colorado Springs and having a nice cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows. She is stamped with MEMENTO, highlighted with STICKLES and colored with COPICS.

To finish off the card I used KAISERCRAFT PEARLS and a BO BUNNY TRINKET. The dp is also BO BUNNY.

If you haven't tried the DELICATA GOLDEN GLITZ ink pad - you should. It has the same beautiful glitz and sparkle as if you had embossed. I stamped the sentiment with it on textured cardstock and it still came out beautiful. I also used it on the swirls for a little glitz. The swirls were made using the MEMORY BOX ELEGANT SCROLLWORK die. Then I cut it up to put around the image. Below is a picture of the entire swirl I used on the inside.

Just wanted to show you an inside picture so you could see how beautiful the MEMORY BOX ELEGANT SCROLLWORK is and also the MEMORY BOX RINGED BUCKLE - I just put a BO BUNNY TRINKET in the center and it looks really nice. Forgot to mention the blue/gray on the design paper is where I stamped some distress ink to bring in some blue so it would all coordinate.

Good Morning,

First I would like to say THANK YOU to all my followers and for the wonderful comments you leave me. It is the comments and emails that give me inspiration.

I wanted to try something different and it was fun and messy. Not exactly what I wanted the end result to be so I will keep on practicing and trying new things. The image "MELODY" is from the Odds & Ends Sampler by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD. I love her name. It suits her so well.Melody is colored with Copics and highlighted with Stickles. The background is a Tim Holtz Faded Texture Folder on Kraft Paper. The musical notes are embossed and then I used different Distress Inks and blended. I am not sure what I was expecting, but it turned out looking kinda cool. If you click on the pic you can enlarge it and see the different dimensions. The rockstar is paper from the Rock Star paper pad and I highlighted the letters with H2O's. It has been forever since I use them. The kraft border was made using the Memory Box Meridian Border Die. Of course, the bow was made with my Bow Easy and the flowers, charm, and metal arrows are from my stash.

It's Humpday! YAY!!!! Sure hope all of you are having a wonderful week and a good start for the holiday season. This is my favorite time of the year. My oldest daughter and family will be here the week before Christmas and leave on the 23rd and then on Christmas morning I will fly to my other daughter's for a week. I have 6 grandchildren and I looooooove being with them. Wished they weren't in other states, but both of my son in laws are in the military. One is a helicopter pilot and the other is a Captain - good place for them to be now since the economy isn't the best. Enough rambling.

On to happier things. This adorable image is PEACE from the ODDS AND ENDS SAMPLER by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD. I just love the name and her face is so beautiful.

Today I am showcasing 'THE VICTORIAN" from the REFLECTIONS YESTERYEAR COLLECTION. I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored her with Copics. The beautiful design paper is from the Authentique Paper Pad - Journey. Her skirt is paper pieced and then shadowed with Copics and sponded with Distress Inks. All the layers are distressed and sponged with Distress Inks. The lace is from my stash, as well, as the clock embellishment. There is a little Stickles on the center of the flowers on her hat, the pic just doesn't show it.

The elegant corner is a Memory Box Die - Madera Corner. Susana will be getting a new shipment of all the dies this week. All the pearls are Kaisercraft. The border behind the image is a MS Deep Edge Punch.

HAPPY SUNDAY !!! Hope all of you are having a beautiful fall weekend. This time of the year is so beautiful, but the weather changes and allergies cause me to have lots of headaches and sinus infections, but I still love this time of year.

Don't ya just love this image? It is so versatile - Christmas, birthday, baby, etc. "PRINCESS" is from The Adventures of Loli and Friends by Sylvia Zet for SCACD. I stamped the image on a different paper than I normally use - it is PTI Rustic Cream Cardstock and then I used COPICS to color the image. Did ya notice the cute little trinket in the left corner? It is from BO BUNNY TRINKETS - GARDEN GIRL As most of you know, I love the trinkets. Her little flower headband is highlighted with STICKLES - STARDUST. I used KAISERCRAFT PEARLS to finish it off .

HAPPY BIRTHDAY - HAVE A SWEET ONE

Good Morning!! I had so much fun making this card. It reminded me when my mother turned 80 years old 3 years ago and my sister and I gave her a party with all her friends. We printed out old ads, movie ads, records, etc. and decorated the room. The older people really enjoyed walking around looking at them all and reading them.

This image is ORDER UP - TABLE 5 from the CLASSIC RETRO CREW SET by Victoria Case for SCACD. She is colored with COPICS . If you click on the picture it will enlarge and you can see I made the whipped cream with 3D iridescent paint then I applied DIAMOND GLAZE on her name tag and the glass. The DP is ECHO PARK HAPPY DAYS which SUSANA has on sale right now.
It's been awhile since I have made an envelope card - need to make more of these for Chrismas with Gift Cards.

This image is HAPPY TOWN from the STREET VIEW SET by Victoria Case for SCACD. These are really versatile and can be used with so many different stamps. I colored with COPICS and accented the windows with DIAMOND GLAZE. The flowers and ribbon are from my stash.

Good Morning! I have been looking forward to today's release and blog hop. These stamps are sooo much fun. You should have arrived here from my very talented DT sister - Colleen. There are two collections being released - VICTORIA CASE FOR SCACD - STREET VIEWS AND CLASSIC RETRO CREW.

When you purchase a set you will receive a bonus stamp and sentiment along with a discount. For my international friends, these sets can be purchased at Quixotic Paperie.

I have the honor of presenting to you WISHES DO COME TRUE and FAIRY HOLLOW. This card was sooooo much to make. I was a little worried when I decided to mask instead of doing two separate images, but it all turned out well.

I stamped WISHES DO COME TRUE and masked her then stamped FAIRY HOLLOW. I knew I wanted to use the colors turquoise and red before I started and I went through all my stash to find ribbon and embellies to match.

The images are colored with Copics with Deco Art Glamour Dust - Crystal added to the mushroom house and Stickles on her headpiece and belt. I added Sparklers for the door knobs and accents. I did Diamond Glaze the windows, but not until after I took the pics. Sorry. The flowers at the bottom of image were made using my Memory Box Catalina Border. I cut out the border then cut it up. I love these dies, they cut so clean. The ribbon, flower, and butterflies are from my stash.

Good Morning all! It's almost Friday - YAY !!!! A cold front blew in last night and dropped the temp to 58 which feels good if we just didn't have the wind. I'll take it any day over the heat. Well, this will be my last Halloween card for this year. I just love this KRAFTIN' KIMMIE image. SUSANA has the fall and Halloween KK stamps on sale right now, as well, as the fall and Halloween PAPER PADS.

She is stamped on PTI paper and colored with COPICS. The pumpkin's eyes and mouth are highlighted with STICKLES. The cute little sentiment comes with the image.

BREWING UP SOME FUN

HAPPY MONDAY MORNING! Hope ya'll had a wonderful weekend. The weather here in Central Texas was perfect. How 'bout those Texas Rangers? (YAY - going to the World Series again)

Today I have another Halloween card for you. This image is KRAFTIN' KIMMIE - POTION MASTER. SUSANA has a great sale going on right now on for Halloween stamps

The DP is a combination of CTMH and MEMORY BOX - NIGHTFALL

I used a SB die for the border and added some SPARKLERS for a little glitz. I have to have some bling. (lol) There are times I like the sparklers better than rhinestones because the image really doesn't call for rhinestones - does that make sense? The sentiment comes with the POTION MASTER image, as well, as another one that says "We have chemistry".

HAPPY WEDNESDAY!!! The weekend is near. (YAY) Today I want to show you 2 of the pumpkins from the PRICKLEY PEAR ACRYLIC STAMPS - PUMPKIN SET and then I cut them out with the MATCHING DIE. Susana has the ornament, owl, cardinal and many other sets. Check them out!!

I love making easel cards, but for some reason don't seem to make many. These were really easy and simple. They are 4 1/2" square. Then I just used black and orange glitter paper and finished off with a sentiment and embellishments. Of course the image was colored with COPICS and highlighted with STICKLES.

Just a closeup of the sentiment and embellishments. This card is really really glitzy.

I promised you two easel cards and here is the second one. Again, I used the PRICKLEY PEAR ACRYLIC STAMPS - PUMPKIN SET. The ribbon is from my stash and I used my BOW EASY to make the pretty little bow.

The sentiment is from my stash. The black glitter die cut is from the SPELLBINDERS SHAPEABILITIES - TWISTED METAL TAGS AND ACCENTS with some KAISERCRAFT RHINESTONES added to finish it off.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND WELCOME

Happy Sunday!! Hope everyone is having a wonderful day. Today I am showing you the FESTIVE WELCOME PEEKER from the ELISABETH BELL HOLIDAY PEEKERS COLLECTION which are available for Domestic customers at SCACD and International and European customers at QUIXOTIC PAPERIE. I just cannot say enough how much I love these images.

Of course, she is colored with COPICS and highlighted with STICKLES. I also used a little stickles on the flowers.

Copics used: BOW: BVOOO,OO,O2, 11 , COAT/HAT: RV24,46, WREATH: G07,30,24, BIRDHOUSES: E70,71,74,77, SKIN: EOOOO,OOO,OO,O2, R81, HAIR: E50, 31,33,37, GROUND: W1, C1, BVOOOO, BV000.

The purple border and snowflakes were made using the MEMORY BOX FROSTYVILLE BORDER. I cut it up to make the border I wanted and used the little snowflakes to accent the image. I thought I need more glitz so I also applied STICKLES to the border and snowflakes. The edging of her coat and boots was made by mixing chunky glitter with flock.

Just wanted to show you the inside so you could see the MEMORY BOX FROSTYVILLE DIE before I cut it up. The beautiful DP is left over from my stash from last year, but I still love the colors.

Update on my little furbaby. The surgery went well, but she is still not able to stand and has to be on pain meds around the clock for 7 days. This is the fourth day, but she is still in a lot of pain. She has to be constantly watched so she doesn't try to stand on her own or needs to go potty. It will be a long long recovery because of her age.

Good Morning Friends! Here is my first Halloween card. I should have two more to post next week. This scary image is a KRAFTIN KIMMIE - MOANING MOIRA and luck have it , SUSANA has her on sale.

I need to apologize this post will be a little short because my little 10 1/2 year old dog is having surgery on both her hind knee caps today and it is a little difficult for me to write.

MOANING MOIRA was really fun to color. I sponged the background and gave her bloodshot eyes. Who knows what she has been up to? (lol) I suppose trick or treating with all her friends. She is colored with COPICS and highlighed with STICKLES. After finishing her I framed her with black glitter paper.

This is not a real good pic, but I was trying to capture all the embossing and glitter of the DP. It is so detailed I only had to add a couple of pop up bats to finish off the card. The DP is BEST CREATIONS - HAPPY HAUNTING.

HOLIDAY PEEKERS

HAPPY FRIDAY! I am so excited - today is the release of ELISABETH BELL HOLIDAY PEEKERS FOR SCACD. I am so in love with these stamps. My first image is the PUMPKIN PATCH PEEKER. Did you catch the word first? (hee hee)

I stamped it with Memento Ink and colored with Copics. The ribbon is from my stash and the bow is made with my Bow Easy. The little pumpkin on the bow is highlighted with Stickles. The beautiful DP is BO BUNNY - FOREVER FALL. I love the puples and gold. To finish it off I punches and stamped two corner pieces and added some KAISERCRAFT RHINESTONES.

Now to my second image. She is WHERE ON THE TREE - PEEKER. Isn't she cute? Of course, she is colored with Copics. If you click on the picture you can really see all the shimmer and glitz on the ornament and hanger. For the ornament I used DECO ART GLAMOUR DUST - CRYSTAL and I used DECO ART GLAMOUR DUST - GOLD on the hanger. I used little stamps to decorate the ornament. There are so many ways to decorate it.

This beautiful DP is BEST CREATIONS MERRY CHRISTMAS. I am sure most of you are familiar with Best Creations paper, but for you who are not this paper is embossed and glittered. So I added more glitz by backing the image in gold glittered paper and using bows made with gold glitz ribbon. The little tree is from ribbon which was gold and I colored it with my Copics.

Good Morning! Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. The weather here is now starting to feel a little like fall even though it is 90 degrees.

I tell ya, everytime I do one of the Sylvia Zet images I fall in love all over again. This image is PRECIOUS PRESENT FROM THE ADVENTURES OF POPPY AND FRIENDS.

Of course, she is colored with Copics. Hair: E30-35-57-59-YR21, Skin: E0000-E000-E02-E11-R20, Dress: BV0000-01-02-04-31, RV0000-55-63-66,
Gift: Y23. Her wings, headband, and flowers are accented with Stickles and Kaisercraft Pearls.

I know this card is kinda frilly, but with 4 granddaughters one of them will like it. I got a little carried away with the all the gold around the image, but it turned out okay. The MEMORY BOX ELEGANT SCROLLWORK DIE is used around the image and flowers. I just cut it up to suit my purpose. I used the MEMORY BOX VAL FLOURISH on the bottom. After I cut flourishes out I sprayed them and the flowers with MAYA ROAD IRIDESCENT PEARL gives them a really nice shimmer. If you click on the pic to enlarge it you may be able to see the sparkle.

I am lovin these SYLIVA ZET STAMPS FOR SCACD! Meet Loli and Shellie.

Every time I color one of these images I think it is my favorite until I move on to the next one.(lol)

Loli and Shellie are colored with Copics. The beautiful DP is from the BO BUNNY GARDEN GIRL PAPER PAD. This paper pad has such beautiful and bold colors. I highlighted the butterfly on the dp, punched butterflies, shell, flowers, dots on headband, and dress trim with DecoArt Glamour Dust - Crystal.The larger flowers and roses are PRIMA and KAISERCRAFT.

Just wanted to show you a picture of the inside so you could see more of the paper pad. I cannot tell you how awesomely (word?) fall these colors are.

Here is my complete card. Aren't all these images just the cutest ever? I have the honor of presenting "Winter Wonder" and loved playing with this image. Of course, the image is colored with Copics. The trim around her coat, hat, and the little bear's hat was done using the Viva Satene - Mother of Pearl. This product has a nice texture and is super easy to apply with a brush.

The background is sponged on with several different colors. The snow and snowflakes were made by first using the Viva Satene - Mother of Pearl,after drying I applied DecoArt Glamour Dust Ultra Fine Glitter Paint - Crystal and while it was still wet I applied a little Flower Soft Diamond Range-Polar White which Susana just happens to have on sale now.

The beautiful DP is from the Bo Bunny - Father Christmas Paper Pad which is also on sale . As you all know I love the Bo Bunny Trinkets, this one is from the Father Christmas Pack. The beautiful bow was made using the Bow Easy and the satin ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

SURPRISE - MERRY CHRISTMAS

Good Morning!

Well, this past weekend seemed a little cooler here. It was only 102-103 during the day, but it did get down to the high 80's at night which is a great relief from the high 90's. We take our little puppies walking around 8:00pm and by the time we get back home 30 minutes later we are drenched with sweat and so are they. Soon it will fall ! (lol) At least that is what I keep telling myself.

This adorable image is "WHAT'S IN THE BOX" peeker from THE PEEKERS #2 by ELISABETH BELL FOR SCACD. I am sure most of you have checked out the stamp set, just curious which is your favorite? I am going to have blog candy sometime in the next couple of months and just might include one of these sweet images.

As usual, the image is colored with Copics and the green bow and dots on the ribbon are highlighted with Glamour Dust Ultrafine Glitter Paint - Limelight. The beautiful DP is BO BUNNY 6X6 PAPER PAD - BLITZEN. I have actually used 3 different patterns on the front - stripe, presents, and another piece which I stamped the sentiment. I cut the dp for sentiment and the other part of the sheet is on the inside. The trinket is BO BUNNY TRINKET -BLITZEN.

I wanted to show you a picture of the inside because remember the piece of DP I used on the front where I stamped the sentiment - the other part of the paper is the ornament section which I used with the striped paper. Hope that makes sense. This trinket is also from the BO BUNNY TRINKET -BLITZEN.

Aren't these trinkets just the best? I love the quality and details.

This trinket is from the same collection, but I ran some ribbon through it and embellished it with a pretty green rhinestone.

WELCOME TO YOUR NEW HOME

Good Morning! Hope every one is off to a good start for the beginning of the week. I tell ya the more I color these Peekers the I more I fall deeper in love.

I especially love this one because of the little puppy. The name "Partners in Peeking" is a perfect name. My hubby and I rescued 2 little puppies 7 weeks ago when they were only 6 weeks old and they are always peeking into everything. Thank goodness they are small - chihuahua and pekingese. Okay, back to the card. If you haven't check out "THE PEEKERS COLLECTION" #2 byElisabeth Bell for SCACD you don't know what you are missing. They are super super cute.

This adorable image is colored with Copics and her sleeve and bow are accented with ICE CRYSTAL GLAMOUR DUST. The leaves are accented with LIMELIGHT GLAMOUR DUS T. I have a closeup pic below, but it was difficult to get the true sparkle. What I like about the Glamour Dust is that it dries quickly unlike Stickles. Don't get me wrong, I love my Stickles also. The beautiful DP is from the BO BUNNY WELCOME HOM E paper pad.

The trinkets from Bo Bunny are so nice and the quality is outstanding. This particular one is from the BO BUNNY - WELCOME HOME set.

What is really nice about the trinkets is they can be mixed and match. This key trinket is from the BO BUNNY - ET CETERA set.

All the gorgeous flowers are PRIMA. If you click on the pic it will enlarge and you can see the sparkle of the GLAMOUR DUST a little better. The sentiment is computer generated.

Good Morning! Hope everyone stayed cool and had a wonderful weekend! It is still 106-109 degrees here in Texas and dry. Just the right weather for staying in and crafting.

Have I told you in I'm in love with the Peekers 2 Collection by Elisabeth Bell. You know how it is difficult sometimes to pick what stamp you want to do next, with this collection it isn't difficult you just want to stamp them all. This image is "In the Garden".

I know you get tired of hearing my childhood stories. Fortunately, I had a very happy childhoold. I can remember peeking through fence holes to see what was going on. Heck, sometimes I might still do that.(lol)

The DP for is My Minds Eye - Lime Twist - Life of the Party. I really like the paper pads then I don't have to look forever for coordinating paper. I even punched the butterflies with paper from the same pad and accented with Kaisercraft Pearls. The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon. Did you notice the trinket? MY MAMA'S BIG PURSE

Good Morning! Well, it's gonna be another HOT day. It was 110 degrees yesterday and predicted to be the same today. (ugh) Good news is , it is August and this should be the last month of really hot weather.

Isn't this image fun? I can remember my kids sitting down and going through my purse. They thought it was so much fun. They found all kind of goodies. She is "Mama's Purse Peeker" from the THE PEEKERS COLLECTION #2 by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD. I have to tell ya, this collection has some of the cutest and most adorable stamps.

Of course, she is colored with Copics and accented with Stickles on her headband. There is a little gloss on the handle of her purse. Did you notice her cute little bracelet? Good Morning! How is everyone's week going so far? I just looked at this weekend's forcast and it is going to be 106 and 107 degrees. This is actual temperature not heat index. Think I will be staying indoors. Next week I will be going to Florida to the beach for a little relief and see my grandchildren. (YAY) My 88 year old Aunt had surgery so I wanted to make her a Get Well card and chose this beautiful stamp and wanted to make a vintage looking card. She isn't doing very well so I decided to give it to my mother for her 84th birthday in a couple of weeks. This image is "Tall Perfume Bottle"from the vault by Victoria Case.

All of the DP is Echo Park - Be Mine and Susana has it on sale right now. I embossed the image with gold and colored it with Copics. The pretty pearls are Kaisercraft Pearls and the beautiful pin is from the Dreamweaver Multi Color Pin Set. The large Black gold tipped rose is Sugar Blooms by Prima. These roses are already gold tipped and beautiful. The white rose are Prima Cameo Roses
which Susana also has on sale now.

Don't you just love the Trinkets? It is from Bo Bunny and Susana has a lot of different ones. The Love You is also from the same paper pack, I just cut it out from the paper I used on the inside of the card.

The inside of the card is not totally finished. I plan on stamping "Happy Birthday" in the center of the heart and write something below. All of this paper is also from Echo Park - Be Mine.

Good Morning! Today is Friday (YAY)!!! I am so tickled and happy to be showcasing this bright and happy image - "DAISY DOLL" which is From the Vault by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD. Isn't she cute? Looks like she just jumped up out of her little pot to say Hello!!!

There are 2 From the Vault by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD and 2 From the Vault by Victoria Case for SCACD being released today.

I apologize for the picture not being very good. In this picture I was trying to capture the sparkle and shine from the gloss.

This card is simple but so bright and sparkly. The DP is so busy, bright, and glittery I really didn't need to use many embellishments. The image is colored with Copics and highlighted with Stickles. After the Stickles dried I put gloss over it to make it really shine. The flowers are from my stash and the little rhinestones on the DP are Kaisercraft Rhinestones. The butterfly is cut from another piece of the DP and popped up.

Good Morning!! Did all of you have a wonderful 4th? It was soooo hot and dry here so all the fireworks were cancelled, but we still had fun and enjoyed good food with our neighbors.

Does this image remind you of your preteen and teenage daughters or grandaughters? If my grandaughters are not texting on their phones they are on the computer on FB or Skype. Since mine live out of state this image is perfect. It is LOL:) from the SWEET MEETS SASSY COLLECTION 2 by Victoria Case for SCACD. There are so many cute stamps in this collection. I want to color them all so I just might have to play hookey from work. (lol)

I did get my sewing machine to work for a little whilte so I added a little. Of course, she is colored with Copics and highlited with Stickles. The ribbon and flower are from my stash. Susana has some beautiful Kaisercraft Rhinestones to add the final dazzle.

Good Morning !!! Hope all of you had a wonderful weekend!! Here in Central Texas we have still not had any rain, so there be will no fireworks this weekend. It is soooooo hot!! However, we will be going over to a neighbor's house for a barbecue and party! (YAY)

So to celebrate the 4th I have used "CELEBRATE" from the SWEET MEETS SASSY 2 COLLECTION by Victoria Case for SCACD. When you purchase the entire collections there is a bonus of 3 sentiments. I have used one of them. You will want them all. This particular stamp is so versatile.

When I took the picture I was trying to pick up the glitz. There is Stickles around the image, sentiment and the scalloped border. The star buttons are from my stash. The beautiful and versatile DP is BO BUNNY LIBERTY and the beautiful little TRINKET is also from Bo Bunny.

Water Babies

Good Morning! Well, it's hot hot hot here in Texas and with the grandkids here we have been in the heat and water everyday. My other two grandchildren will be here from Alabama either Wed. or Thursday so I will have 6 kids here ages 4-14, but that's okay I only get to see them twice a year.

Now, to the image. Isn't it adorable? I love the little mermaid baby holding the baby seal. It is WATER BABIES from the Carmen Medlin Natural Beauty Collection for SCACD.

The background is a Spellbinder Pendant with a little Stickles applied. There is also some Stickles on her tail. The seawood and shells have Diamond Glaze applied to make them appear more realistic. The beautiful DP is Kaisercraft - Magic Happens and the gorgeous ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Good Morning!! Did all of you have a wonderful and fabulous holiday weekend? My daughter and 4 grandchildren came in this weekend from Colorado and I have been super busy. It is so nice to have them here. Of course, it is swim-swim-swim. They don't get to do that much in Colorado Springs.

Isn't this image serene and calm? It is "Siren's Call" from the Natural Beauty Collection by Carmen Medlin for SCACD.

This beautiful image is colored with Copics and highlighted with Stickles. The background is embossed with Kaisercraft Pearls to look somewhat like waves. The background papers is some I have in my stash forever.

Here is another angle. There is a lot of dimension with the sun and flowers.

The beautiful turquoise rose is a Prima. Susana has these in different colors. The swirls are Maya Road Chipboard accented with Stickles.

Good Morning! Are you having fun on the Blog Hop? There are so many beautiful creations. This new set THE NATURAL BEAUTY COLLECTION BY CARMEN MEDLIN FOR SCACD is absolutely gorgeous. They are so detailed and have such beautiful faces. I have the honor of presenting Dances with Dragonflies. She has such a happy and calming look. Of course, I love fantasy and can imagine dancing with dragonflies in the forest. Ummm.

Okay, back to reality. You should have arrived here from the very talented Colleen's blog.

I am sorry the pic is not great. It is sooooo hard to get good pics and try to show all the details, At least for me it is. The image is colored with Copics and, again, I went crazy with the Stickles. There is Stickles on the dragonfly on her arm, hair, anklet, and the vines. The dragonfly is cut out and popped up for a little more dimension. The flowers are a mixture of Prima and my stash.

NATURAL BEAUTY COLLECTION - SNEAK PEEK #3

GOOD MORNING!!

I am so excited today is my day to show you a beautiful image GATHERING LOVE by Carmen Medlin for SCACD. Doesn't she have a beautiful face? This collection is The NATURAL BEAUTY COLLECTION. If you missed the first 2 days of Sneak Peeks, please scroll down and visit their blogs.

The DP was so perfect for this image. I did put a little Stickles in the center of the flowers. Since the DP was so busy I really couldn't use any embellishments or it took away from the card. I used a MS punch for the corners and added some pretty little pearls. The image is colored with Copics with glaze on the heart stems, as well, as on the vines on her dress. I suppose I got a little carried away again with the Stickles, but the card is so sparkly and pretty. There is also Stickles on the flowers of her dress and the hearts.

Good Morning! I hope all of you ladies had a wonderful Mother's Day. Hubby and I went out to eat Sat. night instead of Sunday. So on Mother's Day we just went to church and then I just crafted and relaxed. This image , Sweet Mischief Peeker, from the Elisabeth Bell Peeker Collection for SCACD. It reminds my of one of my granddaughters who did the same thing as this little girl. She got a stool and tried to get the cake, unfortunately, the stool slipped out from under her and down she went along with the cake. Heartbroken, of course, so we took her to the store and bought her another one.

She is colored with Copics. Even though the picture does not reflect it, I applied Stickles on the edge of her shirt, pants, hair ribbon, and socks. The jar and cherries have Diamond Glaze applied on them for a nice shine. The cute DP is Bo Bunny-Ad Lib which Susana has on sale right now. This particular pad has lots of fun paper to create with. The flowers are from my stash.

The paper used on the inside is from the same paper pad. Notice the green lined paper. It is nice so you can write a personal note.

JOURNEY TO FAIRYLAND

Good Morning!! Hope you are enjoying the blog hop. You should have arrived here from the very talented Patti's blog.

Are you ready to go on a journey to Fairyland? I know it is fantasy, but sometimes it feels good to go to la la land.(lol) This image is "Forest Fairy" From the Vault by Victoria Case for SCACD. There are two new fairy releases today. This is one and the other is "Spa Fairy". Beautiful creations by the DT showcasing both.

Okay, so I got a little carried away. While I was coloring with my Prismas I just imagined going to fairyland and there being sparkles in the sky and the deer with jewels on their back and everything just being sparkly and glitzy. I got lost in la la land for awhile and this is what I ended up creating. It was soooo much fun. I haven't used my Prismas in a long time, but I enjoyed using them for a change. The beautiful pink rhinestones are Kaisercraft. I really prefer these over other rhinestones because they seem to stick better. The lovely pink butterfly is a Maya Road Chipboard with DecoArt glamour ultra fine glitter paint with the rhinestones. The image is small, but if you click on the picture it will enlarge. It reads "Every man's life is a fairy tale written by God's fingers" by Hans Christian Andersen.

CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU

Good Morning!! I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend. The weather here in Texas wasn't too bad, just really really windy. This is the first year I haven't had any grandchildren here and it was kinda lonely without them. It was just hubby and I and our little furry family. I have another peeker "Waiting For...." by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD. The image reminds me of my grandchildren and I cannot wait to see them.

She is colored with Copics with just a little stickles on her hair ribbons and dress bow. The background paper is embossed with a beautiful Couture Creations Embossing Folder - Drifting Endless. The folders are wonderful because they are a little larger than the cuttlebug folders. These are 5 x 7.

Another angle. The DP is "Sparkling Spring". See the pretty little pearls they are Kaisercraft Pearls and Susana has them in different colors.

Good Morning! It has been fabulous weather here other in Texas other than the wind and allergies. Springtime is one of my favorite seasons, even with the allergies. I love all the birds and flowers. This image is just a pefect reflection of friendship and spring. "Hey Birdy Peeker" is from "The Peeker Collection" for SCACD by Elisabeth Bell. If you have not had a chance to check out the entire collection, you will looooove them all.

I haven't made a pocket card in a long time and decided "Hey Birdy Peeker" with this beautiful DP would make a nice one. The DP is "Madeline". I used several different papers from the pad to show you how beautiful this pad is. The image is colored with Copics. There is a little Diamond Glaze on the water. Isn't that turquoise rose pretty? It is a Prima - Floret Thyme. The little embellishment in the bottom right hand corner is from my stash.

This is a pic of the back of the card with a different paper from the same pad. Spellbinder Nesties were used to cut out the scalloped circles so there would be a place to write a short note.

with a little Maya Road Iridescent Pearl Mist sprayed on it. The mist gives it a beautiful finish.

Good Morning! Hope all of you have had a wonderful weekend! I have to apologize for the short post, but lots of pics. As some of you know, I have been dealing with my sick baby(dog - Punkin) and we were at the Vet twice Sat. and yesterday. Doesn't this image remind you of your daughter or granddaughter (or maybe even yourself) when you received your first ballerina jewelry box? I would wind mine up and sit and watch it forever and think and dream. This card is for one of my granddaughters and I think I will buy her a little ballerina jewelry box. She is 5 and takes dance lessons. Don't laugh - the butterfly is off of a hair clip one my granddaughters left her. I have never made this type of fold out card before so thought I would give it a try. The darling image is "Day Dreaming" from The Peekers by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD. If you haven't seen the entire set, please check it out. They are all sooooo cute. She is colored with Copics with some Stickles added to her tutu and shoes. The swirl is a punch with a little Stickles added. The beautiful flower is one of the Petaloo - Mini Fabric Flowers. Susana has them in all different colors and each is different.

NEW BEGINNINGS - NEW RELEASE - BLOG HOP

Good Morning! Well, today is the day for the release of "The Peekers - Elisabeth Bell for SCACD". This image is "New Beginnings" This set has to be my favorite. We are having a fun blog hop and hope you join us in the fun. You should have arrived here from the super talented Kim's Blog.

It has been along time since I made an easel card and I love this Kaisercraft Lullaby Pape r so much I wanted to try and display as much as possible. The floral paper behind the image is from the same paper pad and is embossed. You may be able to see it if you click on the image and enlarge it. The paper for the sentiment is also from the paper pad. The beautiful large white flower is also from Kaisercraft.

To finish off the card I used a little Stickles on the baby stroller - can you believe I only used a little? The wheels on the stroller and her ribbon on her hat has Diamond Glaze applied and to finish it off I added some Kaisercraft Pearls. The pretty little pink dotted bow was made using my Bow Easy.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUSTIN

Good Morning! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. My little dog (Punkin) started having a hard time breathing early Fri. morning (3:30am) and we got her in to see her Vet asap. She had a collapsed lung due to a collapsed trachea from her coughing so much. The lung had detached itself from the wall and she had pleurisy. We prayed all weekend and had others praying and THANK GOD she came home today. She was in an oxygen chamber all weekend so her lungs could relax and it inflated, attached itself to the wall, and the pleurisy is gone. Bad news is the trachea cannot be repaired so if she starts coughing for any reason it could happen again. We haven't been able to pinpoint the reason for the coughing. We picked her up at noon today (Monday) but she isn't herself - all she has done is sleep. Please remember her in your prayers.Sorry for the lengthy story. Would you believe this card is for my grandson whose birthday was March 5th? There was so much going on personally last month I didn't get it finished in time. I have mailed it and he undersood. This image is "Celebrate" From the Vault by Victoria Case. The cake can be used for any occassion for celebration.

Since it was for a boy I chose primary colors of red, yellow, and green. It is kinda bright but that's okay. He likes bright cheery colors. If you click on the cake you can see the Stickles I used add a little glitz. For the top of the candle I used a little Viva Decor Pearl Pen. The image was colored with Copics. The balloons and tickets are from Whimsy Stamps.

The inside is plain but still bright and I had enough room to write him a message.

BLOWING KISSES FROM THE HEART

Good Morning! Man, it seems like forever since I have posted a card. My craft room needed a serious organization and it took alot longer than I thought it would. Good news, I found stuff I forgot I even had. Finally, I got around to being able to make a card. Isn't this image just the sweetest? It is "Blowing Kisses" from The Spring Sampler Set 2011 by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD.

This post will be a little more lengthy than normal because I have some goodies to tell you about that Susana just got in. The image was colored with Copics and highlighted with Stickles. The background was cut with my Spellbinder Nestie Lacey Circle and embossed with a CB folder.

These gorgeous flowers are Prima that I distressed and sprayed with my favorite Maya Road Mist - Iridescent Pearl which make them sparkle and glisten. The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps.

Here is a picture of the inside. I know hearts, hearts, and more hearts. Just wanted to pass it on.

Good Morning!! Hope all of you are having a wonderful weekend. Don't you just love these Bonitas? This one is "Victoria Bonita" from Victoria Case The Bonitas Collection. If you purchase the set you get a Free Flourish Stamp. These are so versatile and can be use for many occasions. This is only my second one to color, but I can hardly wait to do the others.

These are colors I don't normally use together, but the fun Kaisercraft Candyland Paper just called for pretty bright colors with went well with the Victoria Bonita.

The image is colored with Copics and the white dots on her dress were made with my American Crafts Ultimate Gel White Pen. The flower and the edging of her dress are highlighted with Stickles, but I felt like it still needed more bling so I added some Kaisercraft Rhinestones. You can click on the pics to enlarge them.

Good Morning! It seems like years since I have last posted. I was away and did not have a chance to craft. (ugh) You know how that you makes you feel. Well, this beautiful image is from the Victoria Case for SCACD - The Bonita's Collection. This one is Flora Bonita.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
One Stitch at a Time - Glitter and Gems

The corners were stamped with the FREEBIE when you purchase The Bonita Collection (4 stamps). I stamped them in red and then added a little color on the leaves with Copics, but the flowers are painted with Deco Art Glamour Dust Ultrafine Glitter Paint. At one time I woudn't use anything but Stickles until I tried this paint and it sparkles and sparkles and sparkles. The background was cut with my Nestabilities - Lacy Circles and then I dabbed a little of the Glamour Dust on the edges.

This wonderful DP is Memory Box 6x6 - Brioche. Check out all the new paper Susana has in stock. It is hard to chose which ones to purchase.

I am honored to present to you "Just Chill'n" She was soooo much fun to color and play with. She is colored with Copics other than her swimsuit which is painted with the new DecoArt Glamour Dust Ultrafine Glitter Paint Lemon and Celebration Pink. Unfortunately, my pics don't show are the glitz. Maybe if you enlarge the pic by clicking on it you can see all the glittery effect.

The ribbon is some I had in my stash and was perfect with the DP and image. The perfect little bow was made using my Bow Easy. The sun brad was one I found way down deep in the bottom of my stash and it is yellow as just what I needed. To finish it off I added some Kaisercraft Rhinestones on the bottom of the background punch.

Good Morning!!

This image is from the "Reflections Set #2 by Carmen Mendlin for SCACD".
It reminds me of my granddaughter who has a Golden Retriever named "Belle" who she is always dressing up, reading, and playing with. The name "I Wanna to Play" is perfect for this stamp.

Since Nicole and Belle are best friends I thought making a little accordion album for pictures would be perfect with the image. I didn't distress the pages because Nicole likes to distress and stamp even though she is only 6. The image is colored with Copics and accented with Stickles. The little tear drop shaped Geo Sparklers work well with the punched loop background. If you click on the pic and enlarge it you can see the flowers have been misted with Maya Road Mist for some extra glitz. I haven't used brads in forever, but I like the look of these little polka dot ones.

REMINDER: Susana has in more and more new products and getting in more everyday. She is now carrying the Earth Art International Stamp Line. These are really cool and different.

Today I have this cute and sweet image "Lilia" (just love the name). It is from the set by Carmen Medlin for SCACD Reflections Set #2. If you haven't checked this set out - it is the cutest set.

For a change I wanted something a little different and decided to color her hair something other than natural. Lilia is colored with Copics and highlighted with Stickles. The pretty pearls are Kaisercraft. I use a lot of pearls and rhinestones and have used several different brands, but the Kaisercraft seem to hold better. The adhesive is really good. The flourish is a Maya Road Chipboard which I colored with my Copics and then applied a little Stickles. The ribbon is from my stash and the pretty bow was made using my Bow Easy.

The DT was challenged this week to use Red or Pink/White or Ivory. This image is embossed with Gold and the center is cut out and popped up. The lace border and the jewelry pieces are from my stash from long ago.

The image is colored with Copics. Her dress and hair bow are accented with Stickles. All little girls at some point in their life have pink glittery shoes so I had to add a little Stickles to them and also just a little in her hair. When you click on the pic and enlarge you can really see it..

The DP is from my stash and this picture is pretty true to color. The hearts on the paper have gold glitter dots on the hearts. In fact, the pictures were really hard to take because of all the glitter and bright paper. The hearts and border are MS punches and then I added a little rose in the center. The prettly little pink bow was made with my Bow Easy. This little tool has made my life so much easier and is still one of my favorite.

I have more pictures today than normal because I was playing around with some new software and wanted to see what you thought of the various shadows, etc. if you have time let me know what you think.

Good Morning!! It was a beautiful weekend here in Central Texas. After a busy week I couldn't wait to lock myself in my craft room and work away. This sweet image is From the Vault by Elisabeth Bell - "Winter Friends" . I didn't use a sentiment because I thought I would wait and see what occasion arises first. It could be a "Hello" - "Friendship" - and various others.

The image is colored with Copics and her jacket and pants have fluff on the trim. I used Flower Soft Ultra Fine - Sand for the ground. Her gloves sparkle and shine with the help of Stickles. The flowers are from my stash and the beautiful pearls on the border and the flowers are Kaisercraft adhesive half pearls. The DP is Magnifique from CTMH.

The flourish punch on the left border is also accented with Kaisercraft Pearls and accented with Stickles.

Good Morning! Doesn't this image make you want to go on a cruise or to a nice sunny beach? I am so ready for Spring. I made a little scene with the main image being "Pearl Princess" from Carmen Medlin's Refectlions Set #1. The other two stamps I used for the ocean floor are from my stash.

The image was colored using Copics. The accents were made using several products. The flowers and her tail were accented using my Tonertex Pen and Foils. The shine is unbelievable and the pen is soooo easy to use. Her headband, top, fin, and shell are super sparkly. There are places in the sand that also sparkle. I used DecoArt Glamour Dust Ultra Fine Glitter Paint.

This is a brush on glitter paint and it sparkles more than Stickles. Susanahas it in stock in many colors. For the sand I used Flower Soft Ultra Fine - Sand. To finish it off I used my leftover Magic Mesh and added a couple of glass marbles and silver fish charm hanging from a perfect bow made with my Bow Easy.

Susana now has "The Sew Easy Stitch Piercer" in stock along with the various attachment tools. Also in stock are some BEAUTIFUL 6 x 6 Paper packs by Best Creations. These glitter and sparkle and have a dimension to them. I want them all. She has several other new products including the Tonertex Blank Doublesided Adhesives, Inkadinkado, and Clearsnap additions.

Good Morning !! I have a special treat for you today. As you know, I was in Colorado visiting my daughter's family. I left some of my stamped images behind and my 11 year old granddaughter made a card using the same image I chose to make a card with this week. Kinda ironic. She took pics and sent them to me so I told her I would post on my blog.

This sweet image is "Love's Unspoken Bond" from Carmen Medlin Reflections Set #1. This set is so versatile.

We both colored our images with Copics. My daughter is a CTMH consultant so she has lots of paper, goodies and some Copics. Mackenzie (my granddaughter) is just learning to color with them so I told her to visit Suzanne's Blog and watch the videos she has so graciously made. She also offers online classes if anyone is interested.

I used some of the new products from SCACD to accent my card. The hearts on the skirt were stamped separately and then I used my new DecoArt Glamour Dust Ultra Fine Glitter Paint for sparkle.

If you click on the pics to enlarge them you can really see the sparkle. The pink background paper has been sprayed with Maya Mist. These two products have to be my fav. I usually use only Stardust Stickles because it is ultrafine glitter, I was so happy to see the Glamour Paints in so many colors. The the little pearls were used with Viva Decor Paper Pen - Light Carmine. To finish the card I made some bows with my Bow Eas y.

Susana has some BEAUTIFUL BEST CREATIONS PAPER PACKS. They are gorgeous !! I am sure these will go quickly.

What I find amazing about Mackenzie's card is there is not any DP paper - only cardstock. She made this card late at night and without any help. I think she did a nice job with the layout, colors, and stamping the sentiment.

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!! I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday. As most of you know I am still traveling. I spent Christmas week in Alabama visiting my oldest daughter and family. This week I am in Colorado Springs visiting my youngest daughter and family. My grandaughters (11 and 13) enjoy crafting and making cards so I was able to finish this one last night.

It snowed about 15 inches here yesterday and the grandkids were outside building a snowman and having a snowball fight and this image just seem to fit the mood. It is "First Snowball of Winter" from the Elisabeth Bell for SCACD Winter Sampler. I love the look on her face. She is colored with Copics. The snow and the accent on her jacket were made using Flower Soft - Polar White with a little Stardust Stickles added.

Good Morning!! It is a frosty morning here !! Not as bad as the Northeast. We only have the cold and winds, but no snow.

This image is Victoria Case for SCACD "The Yearling". I just loooove the little fawn and the delightful smile on the little girl's face.

Have you ever had days where in your head you imagined something, but it just didn't turn out that way? KWIM That's kinda the case for my card today. The image is colored with Copics and highlighted with Stickles. I used Flower Soft Ultra Fine - Sand for the ground covering. I was trying to get it to look like dirt or sand.

The DP is "That's Amore" from CTMH. I liked the name of the paper for this image. I think the image is pure love., but then I am an animal lover. I found the flowers in my stash. They are from Prima and go perfectly. The ribbon is the final touch.

Did everyone have a nice weekend? It turned really cold here, but no snow. I just love this image with the little penguin holding on. They look like they are having so much snow fun. The image is "I've Got Your Back" from the Victoria Case Winter Hearts and Hugs Set. I think this may be my favorite one of the set.

I found this tin with a plastic lid in my stash and decided to alter it. My granddaughter wants me to bring her some Puppy Chow when I go to Colorado in a couple of weeks and this was just perfect to store it in. The image is colored with Copics and accented with Stickles. Since the lid is plastic it was a little bit of a challenge doing the snow. I first painted it on with acrylic paint and then added Polar White Flower Soft with a little Doodlebug Glitter Sugar Coating - Lily White.

The snowflakes were really a challenge. The plastic on the lid is super smooth and slippery so I had a little trouble getting my tape to hold down the stencil. However, I used the Crafters Workshop - Flurries and for the first time I used the Viva Modeling Creme - Pearl Light Blue with a little of the Glitter. This creme is really really nice and goes on so smooth and easy. My snowflakes would have been better if my tape would have held better, but that's okay. I used green tissue paper in the tin because of the reflection of the lid.

The transparency was reflecting on my camera lens so I was having a hard time getting good pics. Isn't this paper gorgeous? It is the Basic Grey Jovia l which is on sale right now. The image is colored with Copics and I added a little Stickles on her shirt and the bells.

Good Morning and Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! It seems like forever since I last posted. I apologize, I have had the flu and it really got me down. Anyway, I decided to do a little project. The image is from Victoria Case for SCACD - Mini Winter and Hugs. This set is just too cute! "I Heart Powder" is a perfect name for this stamp.

I colored the image with Copics added some Flower Soft Diamond Range - Silver around her hat, coat and boots. For the snow I used Flower Soft Diamond Range - Polar White with a little Doodlebug Glitter Sugar - Lily White for just a little extra glisten. The skis look all waxed and ready to go thanks to a little Diamond Glaze .I will be going to see my grandchildren next month in Colorado and this little tin with this image is perfect for Ski Lift Tickets and small enough for me to carry on the plane. Remember you can click on the picture and enlarge it to see the products up close.

This tin was so much fun and messy to do. I used the Viva Decor Precious Metal Paint - Silver
to paint it - one coat does it. The sides looked kinda plain to me so in my stuff I had some Maya Road Chipboard - Snowflakes and used the Viva Decor Precious Metal Paint in Olive and Crimson.
Here is another angle. The snow looks like it has powder and glistens - the slopes are calling my name.
